| This melody was published by two school teachers, Patty Hill and Mildred J. Hill, as Good Morning to All in 1893 in Kentucky. However, it may have been adapted from an earlier or similar tune. Later, it was copyrighted with the "Happy Birthday to You" words, and this song and text is, sadly, still copyrighted. But the melody is in public domain.
